The Skottsberg Cast Iron Casserole is durable, energy-saving and, with proper maintenance, will last a lifetime. Made from a single piece of traditional cast wear-resistant cast iron, the Casserole heats up slowly, but once hot, stays that way for a long time. The cast iron lid features 'spikes' on the inside to ensure moisture in the pan cannot escape, but drips back onto the ingredients resulting in extra tender and juicy dishes
