The Story
In 1986 Vico Magistretti designed a party dish for his friends John and June Cook, owners of Environment (a London showroom and distributor of many Italian design brands). The dish, said to be based on a tennis racquet is made of melamine and has a hole where you can insert your thumb so that you can hold it almost like a tray. Great for serving (not tennis balls!), or as a sideboard top tray.
We are very pleased to offer a limited number of pieces made as a licenced re-edition in 2015 by Design Memorabilia.
