These are gorgeous! Made in collaboration with the Eames Office. Eames "Kite" Playing Cards take inspiration from a tissue-paper kite designed by Charles Eames in 1950.
The simplicity of form and whimsical colour-scheme were drawn directly from the original artefact, a high-design toy that reminds us, in Charles and Ray's words, to “Take your pleasure seriously.”
Eames Playing Cards come in a letterpress printed box celebrating the house Charles and Ray designed and built.
Approximate dimensions: 3.5 x 2.5 x .5 Inches. FSC certified paper.
Created by Dan & Dave Buck, identical twin brothers who grew up pursuing their passion for sleight of hand magic. Upon gaining international recognition for their contributions to the art of magic and cardistry, they started producing playing cards as Art of Play. Their mission? Spread wonder!
