The Nordic Kitchen Cutting Board is made of FSC-certified bamboo, which has been carbonised to give the material a beautiful, natural dark look. The properties of the bamboo make it hard-wearing, yet gentle on knives. The practical juice grooves prevent juices and other liquids from spilling onto kitchen countertops, while the leather strap makes it easy to hang, so that the Nordic Kitchen Cutting Board is always to hand.
Care Instructions:
Not dishwasher-safe. Wash both sides by hand in hot water and a drop of washing-up liquid. Air-dry upright to prevent warping. Maintain by oiling regularly.
As bamboo is a living, organic material, some natural variation in the design may occur. Bamboo can be maintained by regular oiling. If the bamboo becomes rough to the touch over time, we recommend lightly sanding the surface with very fine sandpaper.
