The Story

This is one of those really rather inspiring posters that could send you off in all sorts of creative directions - there's so much detail and difference to feast on in this collection of Ungers' 1976 townhouse designs.  We think some children and young people would really fall for this one too. The multitude of façades and ground plans were created for an architectural competition.

Ungers (1926-2007) was one of the key architects of the second half of the twentieth century,, and is remembered as one of the most important architects involved in the reconstruction of Berlin, pursuing a vision of city planning which began with Joseph Kleihues in the eighties and was continued by Hans Stimmann after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Approximate dimensions: 68.7 X 100cm
