The Story

Suitable for age 6 and above, this beautifully made toy shows how an optical colour mixture is produced when rotating the spinning top. Aspects of colour theory can be experienced with the interchangeable seven cardboard discs. The colour circles according to Goethe, Schopenhauer and Hölzel can be rotated and then compared with each other. Information describing the phenomenon can be found on the back of the discs.

About Naef:

Since 1954, they have been manufacturing wooden toys, not just for children, but for people of all ages. Their products range from baby toys to design objects to replicas of Bauhaus designs. Regardless of what they produce, one thing is clear: products adorned with the Naef logo stand for the highest in precision and quality.

Working in the field of toys and design is a wonderful way to earn a living. The Naef team is driven by remarkably creative people, innovative ideas and high-quality raw materials. Naef is a family-run company and in keeping with the philosophy of their founder Kurt Naef, high quality standards are central to everything they do.
