About Skottsberg Serving Boards: 

Sustainable wood from the Longan fruit tree
Wood Works serving boards are made from sustainable Longan wood. The Longan tree is a fruit tree that, when it stops producing fruit, is normally only processed into charcoal. Skottsberg think that's a waste, so they turn it into rock-solid boards.

A rock-solid serving board
Skottsberg serving boards are sawn in one piece, not glued and therefore rock-solid. They feature milled handles on both sides for ease of carrying.

Water repellent thanks to protective Tung oil
The sawmill has already coated the board with two coats of Tung oil. This drying, protective oil is completely foodsafe and makes the boards water-repellent.
