The Story
Our house pencils – black graphite, cedar wood - are made for us by Derwent in Cumbria, England. They are emblazoned with the 1853 gallery logo – the first gallery to be opened at Salts Mill in 1987, it’s still here today, full of art by David Hockney.
Art materials buyer Bob who chose these pencils says: “B pencils are slightly soft – perfect for sketching and writing. These represent excellent quality and value."
