We sell tea towels by Georg Jensen Damask because we've used them in our own kitchens for years and the quality is simply outstanding.
This delightful yellow tea towel is made with the highest quality soft yet strong cotton to ensure superior absorbency. The special weave with a baffled structure ensures optimal drying ability.
- Woven from 100% cotton
- Measurements: 50 x 80 cm
The 1959 kitchen towel was originally designed by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who headed Georg Jensen Damask for many years and was also a driving force in the design development. With its durable cotton weave, the kitchen towel offers practical everyday luxury that can be used as both a tea towel and a hand towel.
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
