In 1993 Salts Mill exhibited David Hockney’s Very New Paintings, including this, The Other Side. This glorious and exuberant work was part of the 2017/18 Hockney retrospective, seen at Tate Britain, London, the Pompidou Centre, Paris and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
