Hoptimist - Soft - Sky

Most smiles start with a second smile. The Hoptimist in the soft version is the epitome of smiles, optimism and good mood, and with its soft, matte colours and round, harmonious expression, it spreads joy wherever it ends up. 

With a strong belief in the power of smiles, Gustav Ehrenreich created his happy Hoptimist movement in the late 1960s. The goal was to create a figure that was an eternal reminder to stay positive and optimistic. Because even though the 1960s are often referred to as "The happy 60s", the decade was marked by unrest. Therefore, Ehrenreich's design was a welcome source of joy in an otherwise turbulent time.
Today, the happy Hoptimists are part of Danish design history and create joy all over the world.
